Corporate social responsibility

Our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) runs through the firm’s day to day activities.

Corporate social responsibility

We contribute to society through our legal work with charities, not-for-profit organisations and health and social care services, and through extra-curricular initiatives and activities. We hold ourselves to the highest ethical and professional standards and are working towards a sustainable future.

As a firm with a long history, ensuring the continued success of our organisation, employees, clients and communities for the future is central to our values.

  • Pro bono: We believe in universal access to justice. We have a long-standing relationship with the Battersea Legal Advice Centre and take part in a monthly clinic. Some of our solicitors provide advice to solicitors in other firms and their families through the Solicitors Assistance Scheme.
  • Charities: We regularly fundraise for a variety of national and local charities through individual efforts and challenges and firm-organised initiatives including the London Legal Walk, which we take part in every year.
  • Sustainability: As all organisations have a responsibility to protect the environment, we encourage and enable recycling throughout the firm.
  • Social committee: Our social committee supports and organises activities to bring employees together. We have active netball and football teams, wellbeing and cultural initiatives and social events including an annual quiz and Christmas party.
  • Book sharing: A mini library is free for all employees to donate and borrow books.
