Finance Bill 2017 – Dropped by Select Committee

The latest development in the long awaited and debated changes to the taxation of non-domiciled individuals enacted by the Finance Bill 2017.

The vast majority of the wholesale changes, that have taken up much of Private Client practitioners time over the last year, have been dropped.

Jonathan Shankland, Private Client Partner, stated: ‘There’s a view that it may be resurrected after the general election, but this is a rather farcical twist in an increasingly drawn out saga.’
