Cancelled – National Guidance on Learning from Deaths in the NHS – Tuesday 6 March
In March 2017, the National Quality Board published its guidance on Learning from Deaths. The aim was to move towards a standardised approach to investigations, improve engagement with families and maximise the lessons learned from patient deaths.
Relevant for NHS Trust Secretaries, Trust Directors, Serious Incident Investigators and In House Counsel, our seminar will help you to understand and implement the National Quality Board Guidance and Serious Incident Framework in the NHS.
The seminar will cover:
- How to implement the guidance correctly and effectively
- The governance arrangements and processes that your organisation should have in place
- Engaging with relatives
- The requirement to publish information
- How to achieve an effective investigation
- National developments
