Parliamentary Select Committees seminar – Thursday 7 July

We are delighted to announce that Andrew Kennon, Clerk of Committees at the House of Commons, will be running a seminar with us on Thursday 7 July.

Mr Kennon is the senior official with responsibility for all the House of Commons select committees. He will be discussing the committee process, giving of evidence and powers of the committees.

Select committees are an important part of our constitutional process. They have tackled several well publicised issues recently, such as G4S and the administration of BHS, and they increasingly require senior executives from relevant institutions to attend. This can often be an uncomfortable process, particularly with those unfamiliar with their workings.

Date: Thursday 7 July 2016
Time: 5.00 – 6.30pm
Venue: RadcliffesLeBrasseur, 85 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1AE
