Emily is a paralegal in our Healthcare team. Emily studied Politics at the University of Newcastle and graduated in 2016. She then completed the law conversion at City University graduating with a Distinction in 2018. Emily has recently finished her Bar Professional Training Course and will be starting a criminal pupillage in October 2020.

- Assisting with advising on regulatory matters and inquests
- Undertaking work on all stages of GMC and GDC proceedings
- Drafting various legal documents for clients
- Attending Medical Practitioners Tribunal hearings and supporting clients through these
Prior to joining us, Emily worked in the House of Commons as a Justice and Equalities Researcher. She also worked as a part time paralegal during her BPTC on the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. Emily has volunteered for Citizens Advice, the Centre for Criminal Appeals and the School Exclusion Project, which represents students with disabilities and special educational needs at school exclusion hearings.
